elfprince I have my sights set on XFCE, once it's ready.
You know your own situation, of course, so you're the best judge of when to pull the trigger on Xfce. I've just spent a whole day with it, and it beats the snot out of any MATE installation I've ever tried -- including Solus'. I've emailed, browsed, played games, played a movie, listened to the Saint-Saens third symphony (the Babe symphony), and probably much more that I've forgotten about by now. In it's present condition, Solus Xfce is working better for me than half the distros I've explored.
brent I'm really looking forward to solus' approach to this OS. I have a good feeling about it.
You're really gonna like it, Brent. And maybe you can also help me solve a puzzle. I've admitted that I'm not a dockophile, and I haven't yet figured how to get any applications to show up in the Xfce dock.
I do know how to do it in GNOME, but this doesn't appear to work like that. I don't know if it just isn't working yet, or if I just don't know how to use it yet. If you have any ideas that just might possibly work, please don't keep them to yourself!
