I've been trying to get Solus 4.3 working from the ISO provided on the website, but no matter what I try, it just does not seem to want to load at all.
On hardware, it seems to try, but I just get these errors and then it stops there.
For the sake of experimentation, I burnt the ISO to a DVD; it was the same result, but slower and with AppArmor load errors interspersed.
In Hyper-V, the boot process fails a lot faster, with this error:
In VirtualBox, there is simply no video output at all. The system still responds to ACPI events, so it hasn't locked up entirely.
Any of these environments will successfully load any other Linux I throw at it, so this appears to be a Solus-specific problem as far as I can tell. Is there a way to get around this issue, or is this something for which I'm just going to have to wait until 4.4?
