After latest sync, files and folders now open with a single mouse click

on Solus Budgie, after latest sync.

I noticed that my files and folders now automatically open up after a single mouse click.
I check Budgie Settings, and reverted Mouse Policy back to "Double"
However, problem still persists.

Appreciate your kind help please.

That only sets the policy for Budgie Desktop View, not the file manager. If you're using Nemo, open it, hit Alt, Edit, Preferences, and it'll be the first two entries in the Behavior tab.

I'm on Nautilus, have yet to upgrade to Nemo.

nonethelesss have made the necessary changes, and all is fine for now.
