My Wi-Fi also stopped working on my laptop after the update; I can see networks, but I can no longer connect to mine. Intel 8265/8275 (Dell XPS 9365).

EDIT: Seems like it's an issue with hidden SSIDs, when I un-hide my wireless network, it works again. This wasn't an issue before the stack upgrade.

Does TF2 crash for you after playing for some time, or instantly? Because I just gave TF2 a quick check and it's working fine on my system (GNOME edition, Nvidia 418.52.05 drivers).

Nacho_Trebuchet I only did this: sudo eopkg install https://packages.getsol.us/unstable/g/gnome-shell/gnome-shell-3.32.1-41-1-x86_64.eopkg

and reboot. This solved the 100% cpu peak problem for me. But this package as already on stable repositories.

The Wayland session has disappeared after the latest patches in GDM, and I can't find any way to debug that

First of all: Thank you for your hard work!
The huge update went well on both of my machines running Solus 4 GNOME. It's a pity that Adapta is now a thing of the past, though, but I guess I'll have to get used to Plata (I don't really like themes that use full on black for UI elements like the window header bar and such, a dark grey like the "Adapta Grey" would have been nice but that's not important right now).
But after the update I noticed some minor oddities in the window header bar icons. Every SVG is off by 1 pixel.

Also, on both of my machines, the "expansion arrow" in Nautilus as well as Solus Software Center (update tab) has moved a few pixels upwards.

Before the update, those arrows were vertically centered.
How can I fix this?

logi Yea I noticed the issue with the expanders as well. I'll see if it is an issue with a newer Plata release and if so, I'll file an issue with Tista. Regarding the icons, I'm not entirely sure if this is an issue on Tista's end, Papirus', an issue in libgtk-3 (3.24.x), librsvg, etc. so I'll keep digging.

But yea, sorry Adapta is bork. It just isn't viable for me to maintain that and backport / re-add changes for Plata into effectively our soft fork, there just isn't enough time in the day for it, and nobody else has stepped up (at least, in an obvious way) to take over Adapta development. So naturally as changes occur in GTK, various applications, and desktop environments, the experience will continue to degrade. It was the same way with Arc for a while until that was picked up by someone else.

JoshStrobl I'm sorry, I forgot something. Since the update, my mouse acceleration curve resets itself to "adaptive" after locking the screen and logging back in. Even though it's set to "flat" (at least that's what the Tweak Tool says), it behaves like it was set to "adaptive".

Junglist My situation is this (sorry if this is too long winded):

I was able to run TF2 before the 5.0 kernel release, I think. (I don't play that much to know the exact timing). But I do know I just bought Dying Light which I can play for no more than 5 minutes before my computer crashes (complete power off). I can play for 5 to 10 minutes before TF2 crashes the system. I have high frame rates for both. I think there is a heating issue (bad sensor, kernel change, or DE update). I have not had issues in the past with Tomb Raider, LFD2, HalfLife, Portal, BioShock Infinite, Borderlands, etc.

I run a mild overclock, which MSI calls Game Boost, at 4.05GHz (base is 3.6GHz and max overclock is 4.2GHz). Game Boost defaults the CPU fan to max. I've had no previous issues with this setup for the past year. I run Solus Budgie, Ryzen 5 2600x on a MSI B450, Sapphire Nitro+ RX580, 16GB RAM, two 140mm intake fans, two 120mm exhaust fans, and the stock Wraith CPU fan.

After this issue started last week, I installed Radeon Profile to run the GPU fans at a higher fixed RPM thinking it may be the GPU overheating. Sensors seem to indicate the GPU is fine. I have not experienced any heating issues previously with the stock air cooler running at max. I see one sensor with a small range which is the one I believe is exceeding its threshold. Do you know what the k10temp-pci-00c3 sensor is? Once I start gaming, it quickly jumps to over 55 deg C then crashes soon after (assuming it exceeded 70 deg C). Other temps seem to stay within range, including the CPU (CPUTIN) and GPU (amdgpu-pci-1c00). I could be misinterpreting these sensors below, so I am not positive this is a heating issue or some other issue with the DE.
