  • Issues with scrolling and tearing of Firefox since last update

Hello all !

Since last update (with kernel 6.3.4-237.current), Firefox got slow and buggy. Scrolling is not smooth as before; there are some tearing in some pages (I'm unable to show them, because clicking on the screenshot menu get the tearing disappear.)
I've noticed another issue: when launching Albion Online (a game I installed from Steam before the update, and which ran perfectly), now is unplayable. The mouse has a huge delay between the time you move the hand, and the time the mouse will react, and is hugely jerky.
Is there any workaround ? Do I have to wait for the next update ?
Thank you very much !

I can't duplicate this part "Scrolling is not smooth as before; there are some tearing in some pages (I'm unable to show them, because clicking on the screenshot menu get the tearing disappear.)", mine is fine for surfing and don't see tearing.

I did not try to game, like you describe in the second part, so I can't comment to that.

Bouquins Do you perhaps have a very old Nvidia GPU? (Seeing as the 390.xx driver series is no longer supported and was replaced with the open-source nouveau driver)

Thank you to both of us, I think my graphic card is too old.

Just another word to say that those tearings and scrolling issues occured only when using Firefox. I just switched to Vivaldi, and I kissed the issues goodbye.
