@Staudey, I installed Sparky 6.5 on a new laptop, to see how it would be in hardware, and configured it to be a duplicate of my main laptop. The idea was to see how it would be in daily use. I noticed that the VirtualBox it provides is 7.0, so of course, I had to try that to see what's new. This is what it looked like as I created a Solus Plasma VM:
There are several workflow improvements. One is the full-screen presentation of the VM window during an installation. No more trying to click the upper edge of the [Next] button to go to the next step. And the initial process is changed a bit - more properties are established when the virtual drive is created. But mostly it works the same as the 6.x version, so there's no steep learning curve.
I was wondering if you know whether we're getting any closer to releasing it with Solus by now? Thanks!
