Normally the result from my checkUpgrades macro looks like this until the sync begins:
Updating repository: Solus
eopkg-index.xml.xz.sha1sum (40.0 B)100% 0.00 --/- [--:--:--] [complete]
Solus repository information is up-to-date.
No packages to upgrade.
And that's the same result, over and over again, until this:
Updating repository: Solus
eopkg-index.xml.xz.sha1sum (40.0 B)100% 0.00 --/- [--:--:--] [complete]
eopkg-index.xml.xz (3.4 MB)100% 0.00 --/- [--:--:--] [complete]
Package database updated.
No packages to upgrade.
The difference is the line "Package database updated." Always before, when that appeared, within a few more minutes the sync was finished and ready to download. This time, it's apparently different.
Obviously, you need to keep on ticking, just like a Timex watch. Sooner or later we'll see results.
