Axios It seems be on weird channel.
42 is odd. The normal U1 channels in that range are 40, 44, 48 [sometimes 52 and 56] and 60, and the normal U2 channels are 132, 144, 153, 157 and 161.
Sneaking into a channel without the normal separation isn't all that unusual, though. In my building, with about 100 routers, I see a lot of "sneaking" (see the diagram I posted showing congestion in the 2.4 GHz range. Lots of channels snuck in between 1, 6 and 11.
I think that modern routers handle bandwidth separation better than they did years back, so strict channel separation isn't as critical. I'll be curious to see what Brent's congestion logs look like after he installs WiFi Analyzer.
