JoshStrobl I've now enabled Flarum image uploads (as shown below), which allow up to 2MB. These images should automatically embed into the webpage / show up in your reply preview. As always, please make sure you abide by our Guidelines on Media Sharing and keep things SFW!
JoshStrobl Note, if you attempt to upload an image that is above the maximum, it will just say that "something went wrong" and to refresh. This is a reported issue with the extension, which you can see here.
Christoph3 Hi there, dont know if it only happens to me, but in the first post of this forum i tried to change a reply i made and it says i dont have permissions. Best regards!
JoshStrobl @Christoph3 I don't see how that's specifically relevant to image uploads. In the future, would love for separate issues to be different topics. Regardless, post editing is only allowed up until someone else has replied. This is intentional.
Christoph3 Hi there, sorry about that, didnt want to write here. In my opinion it doesn't make much sense since i can make an error posting something and i want to correct it right away and im not able to, but understand your point.
JoshStrobl Christoph3 Yea the idea is to ensure that someone can't change their comment after you reply to it. Makes quoting what they say, as an example, easier since you don't have to be concerned with it changing.
JoshStrobl Solarmass Gifs can be directly embedded using Markdown. Justin I can see about writing an extension in the future that enables it to open up like a gallery view. Right now I'm just using an autoimage embed extension to automatically embed it, mixed with an upload extension to enable the uploads themselves.
Justin The embedded images don't seem to be able to be expanded to a full-sized view, is that normal?
