Bunsen Labs Lithium - Revisited, conclusion
I find myself wondering now why I felt the need to revisit this distro. It's obvious that it hasn't changed in any significant way since I expolored it before. The OpenBox window manager is interesting, but I find i3 even more interesting, and I can experience that with several Solus editions.
I installed Vivaldi from its web site (via .DEB file) and did a sync, created 6 virtual desktops, did an upgrade with apt, and looked through the menus in search of anything new. I installed Dolphin, which I thought might finally get me access to my NAS (as it does on other distros), but Lithium simply doesn't allow that access.
In the end, my "revisit" became pretty boring, so I've concluded it. I believe it's the smallest distro I've ever installed, so it gets props for that. And even at that small size, it's quite functional. I still look forward to taking a look at their subsequent release, if that ever becomes a thing.
For now, I'm going to resume playing with i3 on Budgie. So far, I've just taken a quick look at i3, and I want to learn more After I've gotten very familiar with it here, I may look for other interesting distros that feature i3 as an option.
