Overlapping Icons

Good afternoon

When I copy some files to the desktop (icons are enabled), they are overlapped.
Only after you click Organize by Names is it aligned correctly.

Yes, this has been an issue with Nautilus-based Desktop Icons basically since forever (I remember this being an issue in 2008). Not going to be something we can fix until we just remove Nautilus-based Desktop Icons entirely and replace it with a separate implementation (which I plan on doing).

I have tried many different distros and find that searching the forums is often a pain up the you know what, especially if you're not a tech person but an ordinary user who WILL need help and has to rely on getting it.
With SOLUS and your forum it's totally different: We are well taken care of, we feel someone's listening, and when that someone is even the main developer that's just fab!
So, thank you very much, it's a joy to be using SOLUS and I shall promoting it forever and two days!!
