Barbiefan1475 But she told me that in her school they only use windows 10 education edition.
That doesn't surprise me. Windows 10/11 Education edition is built on Windows Enterprise and is designed with good IT management tools, allowing the schools to control what is on the school's computers and manage the computers as a group.
I know several school districts that use the Education edition, although most of the school districts I'm familiar with issue Chromebooks because they are cheaper than Windows computers and also have good IT management tools available.
The reason I know little bit about this stuff is that I was part of a group that worked to make it possible for small, rural, poorly funded schools in our state to computerize and get computers in the classroom. The group offered technology advice/training/support for school district personal, and helped the school districts get grants and funding.
In the last five-ten years or so, the state government's education department stepped in and started to do what we used to do, which is a good thing.
