Wired mouse and keyboard not working

Hello ! I use Windows as main OS and I try to install Solus to get rid of Windows. I create an USB and when I boot on it, I have a black screen with some device descriptor read/64, error -32 and unable to enumerate USB device error. Solus start but my wired mouse and keyboard not working

this error is wacky reading, just on a single DDG page I see the partition blamed, usb blamed, firmware blamed, and 'hardware' blamed. and kernel blamed. lots of blames🙁
Just from reading the errors I am guessing first that it was not a clean solus install of the iso and/or format of usb.

---if you did it according to that...then I can't explain the peripherals though... FAb7D 's article supports usb being culprit (2.0 vs 3.0 etc) but also doesn't explain the peripherals...unless these ports getting disabled or misread somehow?

(questions to self: are there 3.0-ONLY mice and keys that don't work in 2.0?)

I did not understand if it is installed or still live, because maybe with installation things improve. And to try to change the plag of the USB.

brent I tried to install Solus with the same USB on another computer and it worked, no mistakes. And on my motherboard I have only USB 1.0 and 2 USB 2.0, my USB is plug on the 1.0

ok. was just trying to point out the solus-rec'd way to prep an install usb...it's made a difference for me before.

Questions for people can give more than my 1 cent here:
Is this now a 3.0 problem?
We know how to rule out formatting (I explained it) but how do we rule out kernel or partition or other hardware?

Black screen with no wired peripherals booting up an install usb....but how would you know your peripherals were dead if you had a black screen?

brent I said in my first message that I have a black screen displaying these errors, after, Solus start (i see the desktop, apps etc...) but my keyboard and my mouse did not work. I tried to format my USB key with it by following what was written here: https://getsol.us/articles/installation/preparing-to-install/en/

Now Solus no longer displays the desktop and I always have these errors

YuZesky so you made the usb the rec'd way and now you got nothing? well at least we eliminated formatting😉.
We still have not solved the 3.0 compatibility issue or is it even an issue....no one answered my rhetorical mouse/keys questions re: 3.0.

I understand you now. boot live usb. solus boots up. black screen with error messages. then solus kicks in.

go make your usb the way you made it then originally....I still wonder....you goal is not to dual-boot you said...it's to annihilate Windows completely and donate the disk to Solus.
Is there a correct way to prepare for that?
Need a firmware update?
The reason I'm rambling so incoherently is your stated mission to eradicate Windows and replace with Solus has been gone about a little willy-nilly/unprepared imho and peripherals lost as a result of that? Or separate issue?
I've never done this before so all I got is questions that need research. I'm sorry.

edit/think I did this once with the old lenovo: had to erase WIN first (pave over) then Fat32, then solus iso install but that was years ago. things have changed in procedure probably
