Check that Samba services are running:
sudo systemctl status smb
sudo systemctl status nmb
See line "Active:", should be "Active: active (running)"

sudo testparm -s
Testing the Share Access:
smbclient -U your_username //hostname-or-ip/share_name
If the firewall is enabled, for access from the network you need to open ports UDP: 137, 138; TCP: 139, 445.
