Remember a while ago when I had no audio along with videos from the MotoGP motorcycle grand prix site? Significantly, it was only Vivaldi-stable that was affected. Vivaldi-snapshot still worked great, as did Firefox. And Vivaldi-stable worked great with videos from any other site, like the World Superbikes grand prix site.
We never figured out what the problem was, and it was fixed in an upgrade before long. Well, it's happened again. Exactly the same symptoms as before, but this time I've noticed another puzzling factor. I tried Vivaldi-stable on my Solus Plasma laptop, which was freshly updated earlier today, and there was perfect audio with those same vidieos from the MotoGP site.
So, I went back to the TV, which is streamed from a small DELL desktop that also runs Solus Plasma, and was also freshly updated earlier today. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong the first time, but double-checking it proved that I wasn't mistaken. Its audio has no problems wtih any other inputs, like the news, but just with recorded qualifier videos from MotoGP. (And also the live video feed, not just the recorded videos.) So now I'm watching qualifying with Vivaldi-snapshot.
The reason I'm posting this is to ask whether anyone is experiencing such a problem with Solus Plasma? I'm not overly concerned about it, because it will likely be resolved by next week's update and I have other options for watching tomorrow's races. But I can't help being curious whether anyone else has noticed it. Is it just me?
