Can't modprobe wifi driver

Im trying to activate rtl8192cu driver for my usb adapter, but when i do "modprobe rtl8192cu" nothing happens. My kernel still using generic drivers. Even when i "modprobe -r rtl8xxxu" and then "modprobe rtl8192cu", the driver doesn't load. What should i do?

Do you have the rtl8192cu module when you run lsmod in terminal? I think you need to compile your own kernel module.

yursan9 Nope. When i run lsmod i can see only the generic driver which is rtl8xxxu. When i run find /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/drivers/net/wireless, i get a list of modules that is already installed on kernel and rtl8192cu is in there, but i still can not activate it.
