Assone Hi at All! I wish to remove Liberoffice and install Open Office... Can I to do this?
I wait your suggest. Thank in Advance.

OpenOffice is not in the Solus repository and does not appear to be in either Flathub or the Snapcraft store. It looks like your only option is to use an appimage from OpenOffice.

I haven't installed an appimage, so I don't have instructions for that, but I do have a bit of advice -- install OpenOffice first, and then remove LibreOffice after you are satisfied the OpenOffice is up and running.

LibreOffice is simple to remove. Just go to the Software Center and remove these five files:

tomscharbach There are always the alternatives like office2021 and softmaker-office. Both installed from their own websites.

@Assone UPDATE AND APOLOGY: I linked to a LibreOffice appimage in error. As far as I can tell, there is no appimage for OpenOffice, except for an unofficial appimage that warns you that it is alpha and not to use it. Sorry for my inattention to what I was doing.

At this point, I think you are out of luck if you want to install OpenOffice. If that is a deal breaker for you, you will need to find another distro that supports .deb or .rpm installation.

Assone Was in love with Open Office when I left Windows and still prefer it over Libre, but Libre is fine as is the options above...what you have to realize is OpenOffice has a small linux presence because it's notoriously long between updated (non-vulnerable) versions.
If it was updated recently then I eat my hat of course..
