Budgie Places applet not working

Hey guys, so as the title of the post states the places applet on Budgie is not working for me.
I can select it and add it to the taskbar but when I select a folder to view nothing happens.
Any ideas on how to solve or if I've done something wrong?
This is a new install on metal fully updated

seanragout Have you modified your Nautilus file manager in any way that could be messing with this functionality?
If not, you could check sudo journalctl -f and see if there's any error output when you try to open a folder from the applet

Hey no haven't modded anything as yet, purely a new install followed by sudo eopkg up.
Thanks will check that command and output tommorow

Actually scratch that, I deleted Nautilus and then reinstalled it and now its works as intended.
The old turn it off then on again procedure.......works most times. 😀
