you got your work cut out for you. there is NO driver for linux offered by the tplink website. just mac and win.

Then I saw this: "Install TP-Link AC600 Archer T2U Nano WiFi USB Adapter In Linux" article. It's a pretty good writeup except:
1) I saw this guy's fine print: "There is no official drivers for Linux. Fortunately, I came across an unofficial driver for Archer T2U Nano on GitHub and it works out of the box on Fedora and Ubuntu systems." His article is a year old maybe things have changed?
2) The compile needs the DKMS package installed and compiled as well.
When I read the forum TP threads, as I said, I noticed that recurring problem. Seems Solus is incompatible (and will not support) with DKMS, whatever DKMS is.
Are there workarounds for these early hamstrings? Beats me. I always say where there's a will there's a way. I believe with enough research and a good github package you could get what you want.
Other than that, wi-fi type stuff is way over my head (I'm a plug-in-the-wall type guy).
