tomscharbach maybe 10.6 has since been incorporated into the 22.04 release build.
As a mostly-Plasma user, I don't remember how to check for the Budgie version on this VM. I thought there might be an "About" link in the Budgie Settings dialog, but sadly, there isn't. If you'll remind me how to find that information, I'll be glad to tell you what's here.
As for myself, it doesn't matter whether it's Budgie 10.5 or Budgie 10.6 ... I'm more interested in the distro. As an ex-Budgie user, it's familiar enough that I'm having no problems getting things set up the way I want them, and I'm very impressed, so far.
I decided not to install Thunderbird for email on these VMs, since I always install Vivaldi anyway, so this is also giving me an opportunity to see how Vivaldi is comming along with their beta. I'm also impressed with that. If you use Vivaldi, and haven't taken a look at their email support in a while, you might be surprised at its current state. I was.
By the way, I'm posting this from Vivaldi on Ultramarine.
The VM is almost configured the way I want it already, but I'm going to take a break now to fix breakfast for us here. My wife and granddaughter will be getting up soon. I'll provide more details about Ultramarine soon, but for now, just know that I'm very impressed overall. Very impressed.
