Hi folks,

I've just learned how to do basic packaging (courtesy of some wonderful people on these very forums), and I'm interested in getting Parsec working on my system.

Parsec is a closed-source game streaming app that provides a "local multiplayer" experience over a network. It's something I've used on Windows in the past, and they provide an official Ubuntu release in .deb format.

Does anyone have any experience repackaging or installing from .deb files? If you can point me to a package.yml on our repos that does this, that would be very much appreciated.

It turns out that Parsec only supports hosting on Windows and macOS (unless I'm mistaken). This is what I was after, so neither of these will work for me.

That said I did get a working eopkg for Parsec, and I assume that repackaging .deb will be a valuable skill for the future. Thanks to you both for your help.
