What are the best Streaming Channels of 2022

The ones we stream are. Even ones that are listed as "free with commercials." They break, then immediately continue without displaying any commercials. I've never seen an "Amazon Original" that wasn't free to us. If they charge for some of their content, we just haven't noticed any yet.

You might be surprised to know that I fully agree with you. (As long as you're talking about YouTube TV for streaming. I rarely use ordinary YouTube for much of anything, although I understand its appeal to lots of folks.)

But as I mentioned, I also have Netflix. And I prefer it to Prime Video, but I pay for Netflix, and starting soon I'll be paying even more for Netflix, as they've just announced yet another price increase. Prime, whatever their limitations might be, costs me $0.00/month. That was my only point.

Long live the other streaming services!

In the interest of full disclosure, I now have to admit that we've seen our first commercials on Prime Video.

My wife is watching one of her heros, Judge Judy, whose show is listed as "free with ads." The adds are infrequent, tasteful, and only one at a time, not 5 or 6 at a time like commercial TV.

And absolutely no My Pillow commercials (so far).

I have the Hulu/Disney+ package, Netflix, Prime, and Discovery+. I primarily watch Hulu and Discovery, my kids watch Netflix more. I'm pretty basic though, if it's not anime or house shows, I'm not watching much else.

Personally I use streaming services of local providers and I confess that I also watch Netflix.
But never ever I would go for Amazon I still have some ethics so I try to avoid the most evil ones.

Since you asked ... if you're paying $9/month just for access to Prime Video, then obviously it's not free for you.

I pay for Prime, too, but I get reliable free deliveries, often in one or two days, and sometimes same-day. And I considered Prime to be well worth the cost long before I ever watched a Prime Video.

All I meant was that Prime Video costs me $0.00/month in addition to what I willingly pay already for Amazon Prime services. I'm sorry that I didn't make that clear.

Same, its worth the price just for shipping. Prime reading, video, limited music streaming, gaming and exclusive deals is just a bonus. In Australia, Prime costs $60 AUD ($43 USD) a year and is easily the best value for money service.

I have prime because of the shipping, but I rarely watch anything on it. Just the occasional TV series.

I've had lots of luck with Tubi lately. Lots of older movies.
