Solus budgie 4.3
New look. Scan of a picture taken by a film camera, then generated the color scheme with pywal. Budgie is great, despite what recent headlines might lead you to believe . Just replaced Nautilus with Caja.
DE: Budgie 10.6.4
Theme: Plata-Noir
Icons: Papirus
I've been using solus for 2 years and I don't miss Windows like I thought I would,
*solus mate. clock is Peter Levi's clock. He makes Variety wallpaper app.
*I have to rewrite parts of .conf code to get day 12hr time, seconds, year. I have to teach myself clock.
*Mate desktop panel is, let's say, unworkable---I ripped panel out of Mate (hid).
*Super key for app menu and turned the rest over to Plank.
*Plank Rocks.
*This is my workspace. It's where I need it to be.

Here is mine!
not tweak it that much but it runs super okay
@1371#58298 really wish I could get the red Papirus icons like this again. I have no idea where I got it
tylermason You can use Papirus-Folders to change the color (will need to be re-applied after an update to the package though)

Staudey YES that was it, I recall using one of the papirus-folders scripts to get it working on Solus, thanks a million
I also notice I was using a red variant of plata in that photo, completely forgot about that.
If Budgie had some sort of accent color option, these colored folders would be a perfect fit IMO
(pic for reference so you don't have to scroll up to the post)

So my laptop became unbootable. Boot rescue didn't work and I was feeling really bummed. But, it gave me a chance to reinstall and spend a day playing with the visuals for my system.
Brucehankins never saw the Tela's before. Way cool. I used to dread fresh installs, now I look forward to them! Nice bruce
