joluveba Sorry for the offtopic, how would you compare both versions? I'm not a fan of Gnome, but I'm positive that Solus Gnome is great.
Both are very good, and I would say that they are the market-dominating desktop environments for good reason.
GNOME prioritizes simplicity and minimal configurability. Everything works. But a lot of things simply can't be customized or modified.
With KDE, on the other hand, it's the many small details that make all the difference. There aren't a lot of features anywhere, but those little extras often make the difference.
You notice the difference if you don't have a standard system.
Again, GNOME is very good, but it stops short of the 400-meter mark at 350 meters. KDE, on the other hand, runs all the way to the finish line.
The small but significant differences throughout the system.
In short, TL;DR: KDE is a nose ahead...
