I used to be on Gnome but in the past couple of week, I had a couple of issues with gnome and theming, with freesync and also some issues with audio since gnome 49.4. I started to feel annoyed by the fact that some windows for example MPV has no decorations on Gnome. So I switched to Solus Plasma.

For the theme, I used matcha-sea dark and the icon theme is tela majaro.

I'm a long time Debian user who wanted to try something new. My first attempt to install Solus was with the Xfce edition. According to an error message, there was an incompatibility between Python versions, so it did not install. I went on to KDE. So far, I am very happy with Solus on that laptop.

I realized that I am a gnome user. I went on xfce and plasma for a while because of some frustrations about gnome but in the end I missed gnome. So I saw that in the last Sync gnome was updated to 49.5 and the issues I had with gnome are now gone. So I am back on gnome and plan to stay on it. So here is my gnome

Theme: Colloid Dark (with black tweak)
Icons: Papirus
