Yes, it works very well, except just a sudent strange black screen with vlc while playing video that force me to hard shuting down my laptop, so I uninstalled it and installed gnome-mpv. 
Same issue occurs with Budgie . Don't know wats the issue with VLC but hey Gnome-MPV rocks.
A good reflex is to check the logs of the previous boot after a crash (with something like sudo journalctl -r -b -1).

since adapta is a bit broken in gnome 3.32 ive been trying a lot of themes and ended up modding qogir a bit, which is still WIP

Lucien_Lachance Qogir is a good theme. I use it in every distro with Budgie DE.
