darknetmatrix I love the simplicity of yours--I kept mine that way. It's the budgie ethos. This is the first time I never installed a wallpaper slideshow. Am really digging the purple accents, the vibe, the mood. I'm using the sagegreen yaru theme in my window kinda complements the blue-purple.
NGL the change is not noticeable for me 
I like it though. Perhaps a custom transparency for the panel would add more customisation options.(I know dynamic transparency does exist)
