Single successful attempt for me
Current server issues.
Successful update here, took only two attempts.

about 7 attempts here
(But I have several PCs)
Updated just now (Saturday), with two attempts.
One successful attempt this morning with: sudo eopkg up
what harvey's until sh -c sudo eopkg up -y';do echo 'Trying again ...';done
appears do be doing is preventing the red letter 'could not fetch' error and making the update force restart. it's working--set it and forget.
Rebooting now. Thanks for the updates team, and for your hard work.
I got an update a couple of hours ago through Software Center, 32 packages and 300+ megabits (Solus Plasma/KDE on a 1GB fiber line), took only about 3 minutes, so back to the super fast way it has worked in the past.
No update issues to report this week.
Same issue for me today (Solus KDE), even with Harvey's trick (thank you BTW), I had to stop (but the good thing is it relaunches itself.) That said, it took ages to update (I had Libreoffice, Firefox and Vivaldi, which are the biggest part.)
Okay guys as the RIT issue is still present I pushed an updated eopkg to unstable today which includes a retry mechanism in case of timeouts that'll resume the download from where it left off and decreases the timeout to 15 seconds.
If you have a slow connection and are reaching the retry attempt limit there is a new --retry-attempts
option you can pass to eopkg.
Additionally, you can also override the default retry attempts in eopkg.conf
with the retry_attempts = 5
option. (remember stateless by copying the config file from /usr/share/defaults/eopkg/eopkg.conf
to /etc/eopkg/eopkg.conf
first before you edit it.)
Hopefully no issues come up in unstable and it can be included in the next sync.

RIT server issues appear to be resolved. But we are still looking for feedback / testing from users.
Harvey Well, Thank you for providing solutions.

I can confirm that I successfully downloaded Solus-4.3-GNOME.iso (2GB), Solus-4.3-MATE.iso (1.8GB), and Solus-4.3-Plasma.iso (2GB) from the RIT server a few minutes ago, the downloads occurring simultaneously. I have been unable to download the files without failure previously in my daily testing. I installed Plasma in Gnome Boxes and updated (486 files) successfully using the Software Center. I don't expect issues installing/updating Mate and Gnome.
just updated with "sudo eopkg up -y" update complete - NO issues.
Just updated also. All looks good. Everything was downloaded and installed correctly. Thanks a mill .
Worked like a charme today. Thanks for the boost
Great job Sonos-Team. The update worked today very good!
19 packages were pushed on me tonight. Downloaded then installed and then FINISHED syncing/updating as I opened the reply button to write this...solus/RIT back in the saddle here. real fast.
720 MB update, worked like a charm. Thank you all !
