eye4bear I just ran a speed test on speedtest.net and they report that Discord as well as Steam are showing reports of network problems
synth-ruiner eye4bear it's not that. this has been the case the entire time I've had Discord installed as a flatpak...
henkesteen synth-ruiner Antoine I think I had the same issue with Slack Flatpak a while ago. If I'm not mistaken, it was solved by installing the xdg-desktop-portal-gtk package through eopkg. Discord has to be restarted, if its running.
brent henkesteen https://dev.getsol.us/D12572 see kyrios' thoughts on installing that. in budgie this was fixed for me (couldn't launch flatpak zoom all links dead) until last update...after a flatpak update to flatpak, not an update of xdg-desktop-portal. xdg-desktop-portal has been a thorn in the sides of many lately including me but that was updated at the top of the month. saw a plasma suse forum from 8 weeks ago (identical problem to this thread) where the workaround was installingxdg-desktop-portal-kde but I've seen solus dev/devs cautioning about that in recent threads. Is this a kde thing now? or xdg?
henkesteen brent I dont follow..... maybe Im just slow. Should xdg-desktop-portal-gtk be installed or not?
brent henkesteen quite likely I have more words to say than clarity in their arrangement, sorry....answer: don't think so in solus.
Staudey henkesteen For Budgie, Gnome and MATE, yes. For Plasma one should installxdg-desktop-portal-kde (all of this should be preinstalled for the respective editions on the next ISO release)
