Firefox update issue

I just ran an update through eopkg and for the second time a firefox update has clobbered all of the firefox configuration. For example, upon restarting firefox, all extensions are gone, along with other configuration changes I had made. I'm not seeing this behavior with other Linux distro's.

Is something in the Solus firefox package causing this?

Mr_McBride cannot duplicate. my about:config stuff still holding settings after update/reboot.
It sounds like you accidentally flipped a 'self-immolate-on-update' switch either in regular settings or about:config.
What that would be I don't know. I think it's a setting.
Firefox thinks (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1217835) it's looking for the wrong profile.
It's a PITA to lose all you put into it. Good luck.

Well, the package sets some preferences by default (see https://dev.getsol.us/source/firefox/browse/master/files/prefs.js)
But I personally have never seen it disable extensions or anything like that.
It seems like those settings can at least cause some other issues though, like here: https://dev.getsol.us/T10124

brent No, I just ran sudo eopkg upgrade and then restarted FF.

Thanks for the link. I did find two profiles. I tested the Restart Normally function and I tested both profiles, neither restored the extensions.

I have another laptop running Solus that I have not updated yet. I'll see if I can duplicate the issue with it.
