I cant boot in solus! i cant find where i need to boot

If we ever created a list of the "10 Most Encountered Problems," this would certainly be one of them, if not first on the list. When I installed Solus on my wife's laptop a little while ago, I created a 1.0GB EFI partition. Just in case.

It was on a 500GB SSD, and I figured a single GB would never be missed. And if future editions of Solus ever got greedy, she'd be ready for them.

Another problem that may be quickly rising to a higher position on the list is the VMD issue where it hides drives from Solus installers.

Kuka, I don't understand your question, and I suspect nobody else does.

Are you trying to boot into a Solus "Live" flash drive, or have you already successfully installed it on a computer? If the latter, what kind of computer" Did you have any problems installng Solus? Which DE did you install?

Having more clues always makes it easier to solve a mystery.

A few questions that might help us understand the issue:

(1) Is your setup a dual boot, and if so, what other OS's are installed?
(2) When you access your BIOS (usually F2 during the boot process, but might be something else depending on the make/model of your computer) what shows up as the boot sequence?

Okay, that's good. What shows up as your boot sequence with you enter BIOS/UEFI? Usually, with a dual boot Windows/Solus install, the two primary bootloaders are (1) Windows Boot Manager, and (2) Linux Boot Manager. Depending on your computer, you might also see various NIC entries.

Two more questions:

(1) Are the results quoted above from F2 BIOS/UEFI or from F12 Boot Menu?
(2) Did you install Solus the same drive on which Windows is installed, or did you install it on the other drive?

was obtained from your BIOS/UEFI ("delete" during boot in your case) or from the Boot Menu (F12 in your case).

I've seen this in dual boot, dual drive installations, although the way in which I do dual boot installations sets up Windows Boot Manager as the bootloader on the Windows drive and Linux Boot Manager on the Solusr drive.

In the situation you are describing, you will not get a grub menu. Boot sequence will be controlled by the F12 Boot Menu.

I assume that you can tell which drive is the Toshiba drive when you F12 into the Boot menu. Just to confirm that the drive is bootable, would you please open the Boot Menu (F12 during boot), select the Toshiba drive, and press Enter to boot from that drive? When you do that, does Solus boot?

Edit/Update: I see that @kyrios has stepped in. He is more experienced that I am with the method of dual-boot you are trying to accomplish, so I suggest that you work with him.

I'm not an expert with dual-boot, dual-drive in a single-bootloader installation** (which is what seems to be happening in your case), but it looks to me as if the installation what not completely successful. At this point, rather than run you around the post trying this or that, I'm going to invite @WetGeek and @Brucehankins (who might have more experience) to take a look at this thread and jump in to help.

The Solus bootloader was probably not installed because the EFI partition is too small.
Windows creates an 100Mb EFI partition, Solus wants a 512Mb EFI partition.

What I usually suggest is to resize the existing EFI partition from 100Mb to 512Mb.
Many others recommends to create another EFI partition for Solus but then you have to move the bootloader to it because Solus installer is dumb and always use the first EFI partition. There are plenty of topics about this, just use the search box of the forum.

Last but not least, Solus doesn't use Grub with EFI.

Yes.

Before you do, though, I think that it would be a good idea to look through the threads on dual-boot installations and build a careful checklist of the steps. Stripped to the essentials, there are three methods to dual-boot. One is to use a single bootload partition, repartitioning as needed so that the boot load partition is at least 512 MB, the second is to set up a separate boot load partition on the Solus-target drive, and the third is to physically separate the drives during installation.

I use the third method, but that is only because I've had issues with both the first and the second methods. The third method works well on desktops, where drives can be plugged and unplugged easily for separate installation, but it is a PITA on laptops, which require disassembly to get at the drives.

At this point, I am going to step out of the conversation, because I no longer have enough experience with methods one and two to be of use.
