adarshkoshy I wanted to install solus budgie in it but it showed missing NTFS support,
@Brucehankins 's sdvice is very good. But when you install Budgie (or any other Solus DE) you'll find that the only thing you need to add for nfs support is the nfs-utils
package that's in the Solus repository. I use a NAS (network attached storage) device that provides me with 12 network shares, all of which are provided by nfs, and although I'm now using Plasma as my DE, Budgie was my DE for a long time, and nfs worked just fine with that, as well.
I've never used NTFS to format the disk I've installed Solus on, so I suspect that you and Bruce are right, in that it's the reason for your issue.
I'd also highly recommend running your secondary OS as a virtual machine, as I've written here many times. It removes all the issues that come with a dual-boot. Either install Windows as your host OS and create a VM for Solus, or install Solus as your host OS and create a VM to run Windows (as I do). Oracle's VirtualBox is available for both Windows and Solus, and it's very easy to use after a brief learning curve.
And keep in mind that lots of folks here use VirtualBox, so while you're learning to use it there will always be help available here.
