Enabling Desktop Sharing within Settings

Objective: I am trying to connect to a remote Solus desktop through its Remmina application.

Issue: I can't seem to enable "Sharing" from within the Budgie desktop "Settings" menu. I can see it, and I can set the toggle button to enable it (On), but it won't stay that way. If I move away from the "Sharing" menu to another menu within "Settings", the "Sharing" toggle button is in the "Off" position again.

Question: How do I enable desktop sharing with the Budgie desktop?

jacknash TigerVNC works well and you can create a systemd service to allow the vncserver to run at startup: https://getsol.us/articles/software/tigervnc/en/

Create your xstartup in your homedir using the guide above.

sudo eopkg install tigervnc
#create password
vncpasswd 
x0vncserver -PasswordFile ~/.vnc/passwd
