Vivaldi broke (again)

System: Solus Plasma (latest) with Vivaldi (stable) (latest) with ffmpeg-chromium 97.0.4692.8-13.

Problem: Vivaldi breaks, sometimes, when I load artstation.com pages. Refresh fixes the problem but when I acceess the page again it breaks.. again and then I see the "dead bird" art.

Is it the ffmpeg-chromium package which is causing the problem? Does anyone else experience this? Did you fix it? How? Did you install a previous ffmpeg-chromium package? If yes then can someone please tell me how to do that? How do I find out the name of the previous package? I'm looking at https://pkgs.org/download/ffmpeg-chromium but I only see the current one?

BruceElephant Better switch to vivaldi-snapshot for now.

algent Hmm.. Ok, I might do that or I might wait for the next software update, I'll have to see how many webpages are affected. Thank you for pointing the right discussion for me algent. : )

I too just saw the "dead bird" again (same issue happened before not too long ago) after starting Vivaldi just now after applying the resent Solus update. Running Solus Plasma and jumped on here to see if anyone was reporting same, and I see I am not the only one. My Vivaldi is set to open with the Bing.com as my home page which is where I saw the bird...

Ok, finally, just two days without issue, but the dead bird is coming again. Arghhhh!
But, but, but, Josh said (here) we can update ffmpeg-chromium using the script: /usr/share/vivaldi-stable/update-ffmpeg, I did it and it's work just fine.
