carlanbro is there any way i can get rid of these annoying spacers? each time i switch themes, they just get even uglier than that.

carlanbro JoshStrobl nope. For some reason solus mates panel configurations are very bare bones. The spacers come with the menu and notification area items.
JoshStrobl I checked and they aren't spacers, they're the applet grips so you can drag them around. Also the first grip isn't associated with Brisk Menu, it is associated with the window list applet. Maybe @kyrios knows if those can be hidden.
Staudey Well, from a quick look they definitely disappear if you use the "solid color" setting instead of the system theme, but that's probably not what you want? ^^
carlanbro kyrios yeah, that seems like the only way to sort of fix it. Kind of sucks how little customization there is with mate.
