Team Solus - the more I learn about EOPKG, the happier I am. Today, I added some packages, wanted to delete. A few dependencies were added but could not remember their name.

Eopkg rmo is an all time favorite too. Things I love about Solus - at the top of the list is EOPKG. Whatever it becomes, I hope it retains full functionality and no degradation in capes.

My understanding is that the stuff that is useful / people care about will be supported in sol.

Stuff no one here likely even knows exists and if they do should not be using could be removed such as eopkg build The legacy build system which is only used in the 3rd party section, which will move to ypkg like the repository has.

Harvey I hope so. EOPKG is so much better than apt or apt-get depending on how you feel. I also think it has more to offer than pacman or pamac or yay. It is such a powerful package manager...I'm surprised it does not get more hype.

Harvey Awesome news. I think Eopkg is one of the major things that really sets Solus apart.

yeah, eopkg and apk are my two favourites. really simple syntax and reliable. some other package managers work well but have awful syntax, like pacman and xbps... why xbps-install -Su instead of just xbps update or something? doesn't really help if you're unfamiliar and just trying a distro out, and have to memorise all the different commands and which flags you need to set.
