Girtablulu any luck?
zmaint I just created a bug report, it's my first one, I hope I did it right.
I mentioned your computer, and your friend's computer.
Let's hope it gets solved as soon as possible.

@JoshStrobl Just updated with the new kernel released today, same issue. Takes forever to boot, asks for kde5 wallet pass, apps are unresponsive to the point of being unusable.
Confirm booting with the 5.14.14-202.current kernel works fine.
Opened an issue here https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1777
There is a kernel patch needed, fix incoming. Update here: https://dev.getsol.us/T10000
brent I thought that was odd, which is why I made it a point to mention it here and in the bug report. It's definitely over my head stuff They seemed to know right what it was, for me that works.
On a side note, can anyone even imagine trying to have a conversation with Microsoft about a bug... lol. Just another reason I'd never even consider going back.
Issue has been resolved following instructions here: https://dev.getsol.us/T10000
Thank you @JoshStrobl for the assistance
yup, fixed it for me as well. thanks guys.
Guys don't switch right now to unstable to fix this, I'm pushing apps update right now
Girtablulu Too late! I did it and it worked
If I had known you were working on it today, I would have waited. Thank you everybody for your help.
@Girtablulu Is this in the repo yet? I need to update the wife's laptop too On mine (they're identical), I didn't switch to unstable, I just installed all the updates, waited for it to finally boot, got to a terminal and then installed the kernel via Josh's link.
zmaint It's in Unstable and it's more or less stable again, but really be carefull when switching over to unstable repo
Girtablulu Do you know when it will be in stable? No rush, now that I know it'll be fixed it's all good.
