10542hsrif i used lsusb command, but my touchpad nor my fingerprint sensor isn't detected
Are your touchpad and fingerprint sensor connected to the laptop via USB ports? The lsusb command lists the devices that are connected via a USB bus, like my fingerprint sensor. It identifies the device (second from the bottom), but it doesn't initialize or work.

My best guess is that it's looking for a driver that's present in Windows, but isn't in the Linux kernel by default. And, other than curiosity, I have no further interest in it, so I'm not going to try to figure out how to make it work.
