AppImage stopped working

I used OnlyOffice AppImage for quite a while now on Solus without any issues.
However yesterday I could not get OnlyOffice to start.

I would appreciate any help in trouble shooting and get it to work again.

ovo Until this is resolved upstream by OnlyOffice team to build this AppImage with new version of glib2, I suggest you to try OnlyOffice from Flathub https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.onlyoffice.desktopeditors.

Can you run the appimage from terminal? the output might indicate underlying issue such as lack of dependency.
./YourAppImageName.AppImage

tried that and received following output

~/Programme $ ./DesktopEditors-x86_64.AppImage
./DesktopEditors: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgio-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_module_open_full

This is an issue with our glib2 which is too new, at version 2.69.2. With glib2 version 2.68.3 this applications it is launching fine. So the issue is with glib2 v.2.69.x series.

You might want to try downgrading glib2 then.
Keep in mind that this package is considered crucial to proper functionality of the system thus backing up all your data before proceeding is highly advised. Cheers.

As you say yourself, this is a crucial package so nope... downgrading it is a very bad idea... If the system is broken, it won't be possible to lauch OnlyOffice.

If anyone is still looking to use AppImage, there is a new release 6.4.2 and it is working.
