I am using Solus KDE and so far it was all right. It has started occurring recently however, that KDE desktop settings are lost at reboot, like half of the times.
Actually, desktop icon arrangement kept being lost since the start, but I don't have many, so it was never an issue.
Now though, the desktop wallpaper, icon layout, and apps added to the taskbar are being reset for the two activities I have configured (only dophin remains). The activities themselves disappear from the list too, but reappear after yet another reboot, but without any desktop configuration (as per above). The reset, like panel configuration, remains however...
I tried killing plasmashell and restarting it with kstart5 plasmashell... then got the following feedback from Konsole:
