Essentially my windows is installed on my SSD. The SSD is: "Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive"
I tried creating an unallocated partition on this at one point, and at another point I made a new volume out of that space correctly NTFS formated inside windows before switching over to linux. Nothing that I has tried has worked. Essentially the drive just does not show up in Solus plasma. All I see in my /dev/sda is my HDD and a microsoft partition that is very small.
The NvME does show up in my BIOS.
Note: I have no access to my SSD in solus no matter if it is through Gparted or through the solus installation screen. I have not yet tried other distributions to see if I could access it then.
EDIT:
I tried using an ISO image of Ubuntu on my usb instead and when I ran that it still didn't detect my SSD so I don't think this is just a Solus problem. Whenever I go into my BIOS and change my RAID settings to AHCI input (and save and exit) I think it automatically switches it back to RAID and I think that might be my problem. I'm unsure.
