Randome keystrokes while typing

Hi at all,
since the latest updated I encounter a somewhat strange behavior while typing. It seams like I get random key presses which may be as simple as a "left arrow key" which makes me continue typing in the middle of the word i try to write. This is not a constant thing but appears frequently. It also seams that there is some kind of pattern to it like "i" and "j" key seem to be affected primarily or when I start retyping a word it tends to fail at the exact same character. But i do not yet really understand what is going on so far.

I am using a dell xps 13 combined with a dell dock and a Logitech G710 keyboard.
Does anyone see a similar issue or has a suggestion what I could check?

edit: just to let you know... this exact setup has been forking perfectly fine for about three years now

That is interesting because those are UP and LEFT in e.g. vim-style editors. Do you have any fancy vim-extensions for your desktop, browser, office, etc.?

No vim extensions i can think of. Only using vim by itself. I also noticed that the super / windows key is triggered at times.

But since I have non of these issues when i am using the laptop itself (like yesterday), I do suspect some hardware related issues. Also I "feel" like having less occurrences today. So maybe I am just doing something wrong.

I like to follow up on this one. The described issueoccurs again from time to time but really not as much as of the day of the initial post. Since no one else does have this issue I guess i am doing something wrong and it honestly does not feel like a real bug. So thx to @Staudey for the suggestion but i won't investigate it any further.

you are not doing anything wrong. I've posted about this a year ago or so....it happens to me still. I once cured it by switching out mouse and keys. Others have mentioned it--you are not alone. So infrequent. Always in the afternoon. Usually have to wait it out for 10 minutes or so. You are typing 'realtor' then it takes over after the 'r' and it's rgggggggssssssssssvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvor. And that's if it types at all.
Like I said, so infrequent---for me----that it's like a mosquito in your ear that finally goes away. Maybe twice a week. Maybe no times a week.
I have no idea what it is but don't care enough to pursue it.
I often wonder if there is a such thing as (peripheral) dongles going bad? That's my working theory at least..
