brent I'm always looking for 'better' than zoom
Not having actually used it yet, I can only comment on what I've seen from an originator's viewpoint. Bytheway presents a gorgeous UI, and appears to run like an installed application, although it's a web app. Everything you'd want to do with it is either obvious, or at least easy to find, versus using a bit of ESP with Zoom (for new users).
Best of all, it's hard to tell that it's not a Linux, Windows, or Macintosh app, but simply a page in a browser. Thus, it adds little to nothing to your computer(s). And folks accessing your "room" don't even need to have anything but their browser. Not even anything from the Bytheway.com site.
If any experienced Bytheway user spots anything in the above that I've misunderstood, please feel free to correct me!
