no audio after OpenShot export

I can no longer export videos with audio in OpenShot in any format. I'm using the same two computers and installations that used to work on for me. I have not uninstalled any codecs — x264, faad, lame, twolame, libflac, libmad, etc. are all still present and accounted for on my system. However, I can still convert both audio and video files without issue, in both Sound Converter and WinFF, respectively. Any suggestions on troubleshooting this please?

here suggest it's a problem with the 4.4 ffmpeg version, they say to downgrade with
sudo dnf downgrade ffmpeg-libs
the relative dnf command for solus is eopkg but it responds with error on the command downgrade. What is the right syntax for this action in solus?

I'm building fixed packages locally and once I do that I'll submit them for review.

So I have all of the required packages patched/updated locally. I have no real experience with openshot though, I threw a couple of images into a project along with an audio track and exported an mp4. This mp4 has audio and the export process did not throw any kind of error. Is this a proper reproduction of the issue? If so I'll start getting all of that pushed for review and hopeful inclusion in next Friday's sync.

I solved using Shotcut instead of openshot, without making any downgrade

MarioR It would still be good to fix openshot for everyone. Can you please confirm if the steps I listed in the previous message sound like your issue is fixed to you?

MarioR I'm fixing the packages so that nobody who downloads openshot from the repos will experience this issue. We don't want broken packages in the repo at all and users switching to a different program is definitely not a real solution.

I have pushed updated packages for review which fix this issue (Bonus, they also update Openshot to the most recent version). I can't guarantee when the review will be completed and so cannot give an ETA on when these will be available but it will most likely be within the next few syncs.
