USB microphone

Hi,
In order to improve audio quality, I would like to add a USB microphone like Rode NT-USB mini https://fr.rode.com/microphones/usb/nt-usb-mini or AKG Lyra https://akg.com/professional/AKG+Lyra.html, but I'm not sure about compatibility with solus ? Any experiences ? Any suggestion ?

As a reminder, I've installed solus on an old HP probook G0 Laptop for my sons to do homework and school from home on a secure and ease to use GUI during lock-Downs. They use Google Classroom and are very often on GMeet with their teachers.
I'm really pleased and grateful with Solus.

Patz12 I haven't tried either of those but I recently purchased a Blue Snowball ICE for video conferencing and it works wonderfully out of the box. Plugged it in and it was instantly recognized, no issues what so ever.

Patz12 Looked at pictures of this mic, it's slick and looks efficient, and congrats on the reasonable price.

Brucehankins That Blue Ice doesn't have half the control knobs that Bigfoot does but still can't take my eyes off it since you bought it. It's old school classy and it looks like the 1950's smoke-filled studio where local news and sports and breaking news were announced to millions tuned into AM radio. I still covet that Blue Ice.

Hi everyone,
I've got a Behringer Bigfoot USB microphone now.
It works without any problems(input and output). It is surely not the best USB microphone but for less than 80€ it is quite good.
