First of all thank you for your help. I have tried to remove and then add the solus repo again but without success.
If I want to add the solus repo it gives me an error:
sudo eopkg ar Solus https://mirrors.rit.edu/solus/packages/shannon/eopkg-index.xml.xz
Repo Solus added to system.
Updating repository: Solus
Solus repository could not be reached. Removing Solus from system.
Repo Solus removed from system.
And if I search for updates it will add the default repo again. (Because there is no repo)
sudo eopkg update-repo
No repository found. Automatically adding Solus stable.
Updating repository: Solus
Program terminated.

Please use 'eopkg help' for general help.
brent If sudo eopkg check is coming up perfection then I wonder if you are truly connected to the normal solus repo??
one way to check:
Yes I have the right repo:
sudo eopkg lr
Solus [active]
https://mirrors.rit.edu/solus/packages/shannon/eopkg-index.xml.xz
brent I believe most erno/timeout errors are solved by 'keep trying' I'm still not convinced you have a repo.
sudo systemctl status systemd-timesyncd as a doublecheck maybe.
It is up and running
sudo systemctl status systemd-timesyncd
