Fixed boot problem, but now no keyboard no mouse

Hello, boot failed, I looked in /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt from the resulting root console, and saw that it wanted be to run fsck manually on /dev/sda2 so I did. Then I rebooted, and got a Solus login screen but though my keyboard and mouse lit up properly indicating working nevertheless could not move the cursor or type in a password. I'm on a desktop machine and I shut it down and rebooted from cold. Same result. Unplug and plug in again leads to the same situation described. Any suggestions?

Swapping them out could be an option (worked for me once).
I have no doubt they are recognized in your Budgie Settings or by lsusb.
Which means simply maybe after the boot incident you need tosudo eopkg up -y or at least sudo eopkg check?

Swapping them out doesn't work for me. I'd like to get to eopkg up but from grub2 when I edit the linux command on boot to add a runlevel of 3 to the end, and then boot, I don't get a shell prompt. Any suggestions?

non-null if you swapped out both dongle and pluginjack you'd have a fighting chance (both modalities to precise and pretentious). I don't think had both.
Since you have no keys you can't do the eopkg history rollback. And you can't install the lts kernel. But you should have an older kernel to boot into, right?
Doublecheck all bios settings?

I'm up and running. Got to a console login and was able to fix up in short order with eopkg. Thx for all your suggestions.
