Wifi won't connect on reboot

I've found that recently when I restart my desktop (Solus Budgie/Gnome40) that the wifi won't connect to my home network. I have to turn off the wifi card in my settings, then turn it back on; then it will find the network and connect immediately.

I've also noticed that when I experience this (every reboot) that my screen glitches and sometimes goes black. The screen glitching also happens after resuming from suspending.

Any idea what it could be or how I could fix it?

You can add 8192ee to /etc/modules or

echo -e "8192ee" | sudo tee /etc/modules-load.d/8192ee.conf

when it comes to wifi

Thanks for that. I discovered that the screen flickering seems to be my monitor's cord! So that mystery is solved.

Does my method work? If so, which entry? Write that others with this problem know what to do.

pomon I have yet to try your method because my issue "seems" to be intermittent. This morning when I turned it on, I had no wifi issues. I'll try this for my next reboot.

I did your second option:

echo -e "8192ee" | sudo tee /etc/modules-load.d/8192ee.conf

so we shall see!

To update this post, I tried the second option above and I do see that wifi connects on reboot.
