Many questions for Solus developers (anybody opinion is important)

Hello dear developers, you may remember me in a negative light
However I did not want to offend or insult anyone, I love linux and open source in general
However I would like to ask some ambiguous questions and again I don't want to offend anyone
I really like the system, the package manager, the look and feel, the app store and of course the great speed of it all but
Why did you create Solus?
Where do you find the motivation to develop it?
What are the prospects for the development of the project?
How do join the project? Where should a newbie start, and what basic skills are needed to help the project?
What would you like your project to become?
Weren't you intimidated by the daunting complexity of project development?
I would like to hear the opinion of the developers of the project, thank you, and apologize if any of the question somehow hurt you

NOT A DEV but the only part I can answer: click 'main site' above, then click on 'get involved' in upper right of that page. Things they need people to do is covered there as well as skill levels. Also, see everything else at Main Site. That should answer those 3 questions only🙂

Why did you create Solus?

Not a dev, barely a maintainer, but as far as I know Solus was created because they wanted a distro they like to use and gets out of the way and no other distro was really cutting it. The motivation to develop it further is of course that they're Solus themselves.

The title already is ambiguous since you address questions to the solus developers but at the same time you add (anybody opinion is important) which supposes that actually you are talking to the solus community.
