vitorazevedo The issues you are reporting (reoccurring but apparently random file corruption, apparent regeneration of corrupted files (a SMART process to correct HHD/SSD errors), corruption on one but not both of two computers using Solus Budgie) strongly suggest a failing HHD/SSD, as others have pointed out.
SMART Data & Self Tests using the Disks utility, however, report that the HHD/SSD is okay, suggesting that the issue might not be with the HHD/SSD. To check this finding, you might consider running the "Extended Test" rather than the "Short Test".
A study by Google a few years ago found that 35-40% of failed drives on the company's servers did not exhibit a single SMART-monitored failure before failing, most likely because SMART analysis focuses on mechanical failures rather than electronic failures. SMART is an indication of potential trouble but "OK" is not a definitive indication that the drive is sound.
My bet is that the HHD/SSD is failing, despite the SMART testing, because everything points in that direction, including regeneration of corrupted files.
However, if the issue is not with the HDD/SSD, the next most likely causes are (1) an infected system or (2) a damaged operating system. If either is the case, a "destructive" install (that is, "automatically partition this disk and install a fresh copy of Solus" to completely wipe the HHD/SSD before installation) may resolve the issue.
Whichever route you take (replace HHD/SSD or destructive reinstall) be careful if you think that there is any possibility that you have an infected system -- scan any data that you back up for infection before restoring.
